Manager of Health and Wellness Programs
Johanna is a duly qualified Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT). She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree (Criminology with minor focus in Psychology) from Simon Fraser University in 2000 and in 2006 obtained her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of British Columbia. In 2015, Johanna obtained qualifications as a Canadian Certified Life Care Planner through the International Commission on Health Care Certification (ICHCC).
Johanna has over ten years’ experience providing rehabilitation consultation services with adults in various settings, including hospitals, schools, and the community. She is skilled in the rehabilitation of adults with various health issues, including orthopaedic and musculoskeletal impairments, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, chronic pain, dementia, neurological conditions, and cardiovascular conditions.
Johanna is also committed to continual learning and professional development with a special interest in vocational health, safety, and wellness. She is CIRs Manager of Health & Wellness Programs and also completes catastrophic determination assessments and future care cost reports.
