Ensieh Rafiei is a registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. She has completed a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Toronto. Ensieh practices occupational therapy in English and Farsi.
Ensieh has accumulated clinical experience with adult, geriatric, and school-aged populations with a variety of diagnoses in hospital, home, as well as school settings. She has well-established experience and knowledge in delivering evidence-based clinical services to clients with various neurological and orthopaedic conditions to maximize their safety and independence in the home and community. This includes conducting comprehensive in-home assessment that incorporate physical, functional, cognitive, and psycho-social assessments.
Ensieh also has extensive experience with providing occupational therapy treatment to children with neurological, orthopedic, and sensory processing challenges. Her goal in working with a paediatric population is to develop and deliver integrated and family-centred interventions which are play-based, engaging and meaningful to the clients.
Ensieh has completed a variety of additional training including: Introduction to NDT and Dynamic Core for Kids, Sensory Integration Theoretical Foundation, Clinical Reasoning, & Treatment, as well as Handwriting Without Tears.
