Ayushi Dhingra is a registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She is experienced in conducting both discharge and in-home assessments that include assessment of attendant care needs, home safety, and comprehensive physical, cognitive and psychosocial assessments.
She also has experience with providing occupational therapy treatment to both adults and children with concussions and other acquired brain injuries, chronic pain, orthopaedic injuries, and mental health conditions. Her goal is to always engage with clients in a meaningful and collaborative way.
Ayushi is a BrainFx 360 Administrator and has completed a variety of training including: completion of courses for acquired brain injury through the Ontario Brain Injury Association, Goal Management Training for Executive Functions, Handwriting Without Tears, NDT Upper Extremity training, Assisted Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), Mental Health First Aid, and Gentle Persuasive Approaches in Dementia Care. Ayushi provides occupational therapy services in English, Hindi, and French.
In her spare time, Ayushi enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, baking, writing songs, and attempting to play the guitar. She is always open to learning new things, especially from clients as they share their own goals to pursue a variety of leisure activities.
