Aisha is an experienced occupational therapy/physiotherapy assistant, having completed a BSc in Psychology in the UK. Aisha has working in London, England as an OTA for several years in a variety of settings, including acute hospital care and neurological rehab. She has also worked within the specialized field of assistive technology, setting up and providing ongoing administrative help for devices designed to assist patients with neurodegenerative disorders.
Having recently moved back to Canada, Aisha has completed a bridging program and continues to develop her skills with continuing education. She has a passion for this field of work, appreciating the uniqueness of each patient and the role she can play in their rehabilitation journey.
Outside of the rehabilitation field, Aisha also assists with English as a Second Language learning, as she teach children ranging from ages 4 to 12.
An avid traveller, Aisha has travelled much of Europe, the Middle East, and some of Far East Asia. Her most memorable trip was travelling to Cambodia to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the majestic temples of Angkor Wat.
